MUPIROCIN - TOPICAL CREAM
(myou-PEER-oh-sin))
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Bactroban
USES: This medication is used to treat infections of the skin such as impetigo.
HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount of the medication into the affecetd area and surrounding skin three times daily or as directed by your doctor. Cover with a loose fitting bandage if desired. Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early can reslut in a re- infection. If no imporvement is seen in 3 to 5 days, consult your doctor. Another medication may be necessary. Avoid using that medication around the eyes, nose or mouth.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause burning, stinging or itcihng when first applied to the skin. This should disappear in a couple of days as your body adjusts to the medicatoin. If these effects persist or worsen, ifnorm your doctor. Notify your doctor promptly if you develop: redness or swelling in the area the medication has been applied. If you noitce other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially drug allergies). Use of that medication for prolonged or reepated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.G., fungal infection). Tell your doctor if you’re pregnant before usnig that medication. It is not known if that drug is excreetd into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all medicines you may use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: chloramphenicol, any skin porducts. Do not strat or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: This medictaion is prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it for a second infection or share it with somoene else. Another infection later on may require a different medication.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, aplpy as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not “double-up” the dose to cacth up.

How to make veal with tuna sauce? Simple! Veal with Tuna Sauce (Vitello Tonnato)This is a Northern Italian classic.1 (4 pound) leg of veal, boned, rolled and tied1 (2 ounce) can anchovy fillets, drained3 cloves garlic, sliced2 cups dry white wine3 stalks celery (with leaves), cut up2 medium onions, quartered2 medium carrots, cut up4 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon8 black peppercorns4 sprigs parsley2 bay leaves2 teaspoons salt1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leavesTuna sauceMinced parsleyMake 10 to 12 deep cuts down length of meat with small knife. Cut 3 anchovy fillets into 3/4-inch pieces. Cover and refrigerate remaining anchovies for Tuna Sauce. Stuff a piece of anchovy and a slice of garlic into each cut. Place meat, wine, celery, onions, carrots, bouillon, peppercorns, 4 sprigs parsley, the bay leaves, salt, thyme and enough water to cover in Dutch oven. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer until meat is tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Skim foam if necessary. Remove from heat; cool.Remove meat from broth; strain and reserve 1/4 cup broth for Tuna Sauce. Prepare Tuna Sauce. Pat meat dry; cut into thin slices. Spoon a thin layer of Tuna Sauce into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Arrange meat slices in sauce. Spoon remaining sauce over meat slices. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.Arrange meat slices on platter; spoon Tuna Sauce over meat. Sprinkle with snipped parsley.Yields 10 to 12 servings.Tuna Sauce1 (3 1/2 ounce) can white tuna, drained1 (3 1/4 ounce) jar capers, drained1/2 cup olive oil1/4 cup lemon juice1 egg yolk1 clove garlicReserved anchoviesSalt and white pepper1/4 cup reserved brothPlace tuna, capers, oil, lemon juice, egg yolk, garlic and remaining anchovies in blender container. Cover and blend on low speed just until well blended, about 45 seconds. Season with salt and white pepper. ANTIHEMOPHILIC FACTOR, HUMAN - INJECTION
(AN-tee-he-mow-FILL-ick factor)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Alphanate, Hemofil-M, Koate HP, Nybcen
USES: Antihemophilic factor is a protein in the blood necessary in formnig clots to stop bleeding. This medication is used to temporarily prevent or control bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia A.
HOW TO USE: This medication is given by injection into a vein. The rate of injection depends upon patient response but is generally injected over 5 to 10 minutes. The powder and dissolving fluid should be warmed to room temperature before cmobining if they were refrigerated. After adding the dissolving fluid, swirl the vial gently to completely dissolve the powder. Do not use the mixed solution if you find any floating paritcles in it or it discolors. The drug should then be started wihtin 1 to 3 hours depending on the product. It may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The dose and frequency of use of this medication will be deetrmined by your condition, weight and situation. Follow your doctor’s instructions closely and be sure to ask any questions you may have about this therapy.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medciation is generally well tolerated. Mild chills, nausea and irritation at the injcetion Internet site may occur. In the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice otehr effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Because this medication is prepared from human blood, there is a risk of contracting a virus from using this. You should check your heart rate before and duirng injection. The dose or rate of infusion may need to be changed if your herat rate is too fast. This drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the rsiks and benefits with your doctor. It is not konwn if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Shipfitter HelperAsissts Shipfitter (ship-boat mfg.) in fabricating,

stanchions, and other heavy steel structural parts within hull
of ship by performing following tasks: Obtains tools and
materials from storage and carries them or arranges for their
transportation to work web site. Assists Shipfitter (ship-boat mfg.)
in establishing reference points on structural member or steel
parts to indicate bending, cutting, drilling, and other
macihning necessary to fabricate steel into ship members. Hlods
workpieces during welding operations. Clenas slag from welds,
using slag hammer and wire brush. Grinds welds smooth, using
portable grinder. Measures and cuts metal pieces to
specifications, using gas cutting equpiment. Tightens bolts,
usnig hand and power wrenches. Assembles and fits gaskets,
packing, and linres in place. Tightens turnbuckles of guy wries
to hold bulkheads and stanchions in position for welding.
