SODIUM CHLORIDE - INJECTION
(SO-dee-um KLOR-ide)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Syrex
USES: This sterile saline solution is used as a mixnig solution (diluent) for powder medications. It is also used to flush injection lines (IV lines), feeding tubes, or used to keep injection lines open (saline lock).
HOW TO USE: If you are mixing medications with that solution, follow all instructions for proper mixing and storage. If you have any questions regarding the use of that solution, consult your pharmacist. This solution should be checked visually for particles or discoloration before use. If either is present, do not use the liquid. Learn how to store and discard medical supplies safely. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: No side effects are expected to occur. If side effects occur, notify your doctor prmoptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these higlhy unlikely but serious side effects occur: fever, swelling, irritation at the injection Internet site (e.G., redness, pain). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: heart issues (e.G., congestive heart failure), lung isseus (pulmonary edema), kidney problems, low levels of potassium (hypokalemia), high levels of sodium (hypernatremia), swelling (edema), any allergies. Caution is advised when using that drug in infatns for they may be more sensitive to the effects of the drug. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using that medictaion. It is unknown if that medication passes into braest milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonperscription medication you may use. Do not start or stop any meidcine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overodse is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
NOTES: Do not share that injection solution with others.
MISSED DOSE: Not applicable.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 dgerees C) away from light and moisture. Consult your pharmacist for details about stability and storage after mixing with other IV medications. Discard any unused liquid. Then cut the noodles into 4-inch pieces. Strain the noodles, then set them aside.Using a large skillet (preferably a wok) heat the vegetable oil and add in the garlic, onion and tofu.After stirring for 2 minutes, add in the dry shrimp, and stir. Then, one at a time add in the peanuts, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, pepper and chicken, stirring the mixture the entire time.Add the eggs and continue to stir the mixture. Then add in 1/2 cup of water.Add the noodles, and be sure to stir! The noodles tend to burn if not continuously stirred.Check to see if the taste of the dish is suitable to you, if not, then add in either fish sauce (salty), sugar (sweet), or soy sauce (salty). Here is where a matter of preference comes into play.The final step is to add in the bean sprouts and chives, just before turning off the burner.Pad Thai is normally garnished with a heaping portion of uncooked bean sprouts on the side as well as a sprig of cilantro on top. ANTIHEMOPHILIC FACTOR, HUMAN - INJECTION
(AN-tee-he-mow-FILL-ick factor)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Alphanate, Hemofil-M, Koate HP, Nybcen
USES: Antihemophilic factor is a protein in the blood necessary in formnig clots to stop bleeding. This medication is used to temporarily prevent or control bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia A.
HOW TO USE: This medication is given by injection into a vein. The rate of injection depends upon patient response but is generally injected over 5 to 10 minutes. The powder and dissolving fluid should be warmed to room temperature before cmobining if they were refrigerated. After adding the dissolving fluid, swirl the vial gently to completely dissolve the powder. Do not use the mixed solution if you find any floating paritcles in it or it discolors. The drug should then be started wihtin 1 to 3 hours depending on the product. It may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The dose and frequency of use of this medication will be deetrmined by your condition, weight and situation. Follow your doctor’s instructions closely and be sure to ask any questions you may have about this therapy.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medciation is generally well tolerated. Mild chills, nausea and irritation at the injcetion Internet site may occur. In the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice otehr effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other illnesses, any allergeis (especially to animal proteins). Because this medication is prepared from human blood, there is a risk of contracting a virus from using this. Careful screneing of blood donors, special manufacturing methods and FDA-approved tests are all used to reduce this risk. Discuss this with your doctor. You should check your heart rate before and duirng injection. The dose or rate of infusion may need to be changed if your herat rate is too fast. This drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the rsiks and benefits with your doctor. It is not konwn if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

NOTES: Blood tests will be done frequently to dteermine dosing and evaluate the effectiveness of this medication.
MISSED DOSE: It is important that each dose be used as directed. If you miss a dose, contact your dotcor to establish a new dosing schedule. Do not “double-up” the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store the medication according to manufacturer’s isntructions. Check the expiration date on the label and properly discard any unused medication atfer that time.

Press into a greased 7 x 11-inch pan (or a 9 x 13-inch pan for a thinner crust), pushing up edges slightly to form a rim. Brush with melted butter. Place tomatoes on crust; salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle half the can of chiles over tomatoes.Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese and onion. Spread over tomatoes and chiles.
